In the late 80s Prince and his band, The Revolution disbanded and Prince became a solo artist.

In the 1990s Prince changed his name to a symbol known as the Love Symbol. But, in 2000, he began using the name Prince again.

Prince sold over 100 million records and received 7 Grammys, 6 American Music Awards, a Golden Globe Award and an Academy Award. He is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
